The main difference is that, invisibility does not end when you are detected by early means that are not charming or with particular senses but, in the fire warden encase, the condition/ability ends equally soon as the fire warden is detected.
The invisibility condition in PHB 191.
An invisible creature is impossible to see without the aid of magic
or a special sense. For the determination of concealment, the creature is heavily obscured. The creature’s location can be detected by any noise it
makes or any tracks it leaves.
Attack rolls against the creature have disadvantage, and the creature ’ s attack rolls have advantage.

A heavily obscured area—such as darkness, opaque daze, or dense foliage—blocks sight entirely. A creature in a heavily obscured area efficaciously suffers from the blinded condition .
therefore, against the commando when trying to detect him in iniquity or dense light condition, a Dark Elf and a Human are not treated differently, as if they have the like ocular capacities .
