💕 what should i know?
– it’s an creamy hydrating emulsion
– it’s gentler than retinol
– solution for? according to the brand, “dullness, uneven texture, fine lines and wrinkles”
– texture? serum-like. very lightweight and absorbs fast.
– what’s glycerin in the name? it’s an ingredient in a lot of products we use. helps draws moisture from the air and retains it in your skin => soften, treat or prevent dry, rough skin.
– which skin type it’s good for? all skin types according to the brand. imo, it suits sensitive, acne-prone skin and who can’t tolerate retinol/ retinol newbies
– fragrance-free? YES!✨ there’s a natural smell of the emulsion but it’s totally no biggie
– *do not* use this serum with other products containing retinoids, such as retinol and retinoic acid.
– when to use? in the PM
– how often? begin with once a week and then increase it to your liking and your skin’s sensitivity. i started off by using it only once a week and then increased to 2-3x
– how to use? apply to clean, dry skin before any other products at night.
– price? $9.80 on @sephora
– can’t believe i have to point this out, but their dropper works well 🙌 i’ve used products which their droppers just DON’T work at all.
💕 my result:
– visibly reduced & calmed my acne. GOOD at brightening up dark spots!noticeable glowy and smoother skin. i’d say it takes at least a month for me to see the results.
– would i repurchase? absolutely. i’ve been using this serum for about 8 months and the whole time i’ve noticed zero irritation or harsh reaction post-appliance. that gave me confidence in trying other products from @theordinary.
