Ziegfeld Ballroom

We were at the Ballroom adjacent to the theatre for an event.
Clean venue with great catering.
Easy access for mass transportation or Uber to pick you up.

Lovely small theater uptown

i went there phệ see Sam Heughan and Josh Horowitz bởi vì a live podcast. the theater is a decent form size và has an interesting balcony. most everyone i spoke with could see well wherever they were seated. they had no trouble accomodating me in my electric wheelchair. they keep a space in the front row on the aisle for handicapped people

Moving experience

The place is really nice, staff was friendly, và although naturally an older location everything was clean & comfortable. Theater personality lớn it. Very pleased with my first experience .

Big, busy movie theater

I usually enjoy coming phệ this movie theater – it’s conveniently located, there’s always a movie I want lớn see at a phút giây that works for me, & the seats are comfortable. It’s a busy movie theater precisely because of its location, so sánh buy tickets early if you want phệ ensure a good seat. Sometimes the escalators don’t work, but they’re fixed quickly. It’s a large movie theater ( tam floors ), so sánh there are plenty of movie options, & it’s decorated nicely for a chain. The bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently, though .

Great venue for independent films

Our nhóm of three adults visited during the mid afternoon phệ see ” Amazing Grace “, và were reminded of the deep spiritual roots of the late Aretha Franklin in this outstanding documentary. On the main floor was a delightful Gourmet Cafe, và we went downstairs béo the see the film, where they had a traditional concession stand as well. It’s great béo have theaters that show movies of real substance và true artistry .

Nice thời gian

Nice theater … went mập ipic as a nhóm of four. We sat in the same row but only 2 people can sit together. The seats are shaped lượt thích pods, with a wall between you & next person. They give you a blanket .. that is a nice touch since it’s freezing in there. The food is okay the street tacos barely have anything in them. And the kids chicken tenders are just 2 pieces. They should atleast have một or 2 four seater pods for family’s .

Nice theatre, hidden location

My wife và I went here on a Saturday afternoon phệ see a movie that was not showing anywhere near our neighborhood. Its win-win situation when both spouses are actually into the exact same movie và want Khủng see it badly enough Khủng travel mập unfamiliar territory béo see it. The theatre itself và the movie were nice. Concession stand was decent, staff efficient, bathroom large và clean. However, come phút giây bự get back on our side of town the West side of Manhattan, the area is so sánh remote that we honestly couldnt find the street we were being picked up from. The four corners of the theatre are surrounded by water, being in the financial district with a highway separating them ! This is NOT an area béo be in when it is cold outside và you have lớn pick your way thru the blocks. I had lớn Gọi our driver béo come find us. Even with navigation from the cellphone, it was still impossible Khủng tell which way phệ walk. Not sure I would go here again. At least not in the winter phút giây .

Wow ! ! ! ! !

We were exhausted after lots of walking và thought we’d go see a movie rather than a show for a rest one evening. We’d chosen the film & I started researching cinemas in the area, và came across this amazing place …. We were able mập see our film Jaffe Art Theatre …. If your movie is available on this màn hình hiển thị, please choose it, you will not be disappointed …. The film is the film but you feel lượt thích you are taking part in history, watching the film in what feels lượt thích a museum …. A really special experience on our trip. ( Lots of lovely places around for pre / post drinks or food too )
