If your SNES Classic won’t power on, there are a few solutions that you can use to fix the problem and we’ll list them in this guide. Follow the instructions available below and you should be able to start your console in a few minutes.

Check the microUSB cable ad make sure it’s inserted all the way into the port. Some users noticed that their cables actually required more force than other microUSB ports on other devices.
Fix 1 – Open up the system
If you like to tinker around with your devices, you can open up the system with a screwdriver and check the cords, solders, etc.
Perhaps the solder connection between the power connector and the mainboard is broken.
However, keep in mind that this action will void your warranty.
Fix 2 -Use a different power adapter
If you’ve got a faulty power adapter, this may explain why your SNES Classic won’t start. Try using a different power adapter or connect your console to your computer and plug it into your TV at the same time. If your console works with a different AC adapter, you need to replace the faulty one.

Fix 3 – Unplug the HDMI
Many gamers also confirmed that disconnecting the HDMI for a few seconds and then plugging it back in fixed the problem.
Fix 4 – Put the console in Recovery Mode
Plug the console into your computer, hold the Reset button and then hit Start to put it in Recovery Mode.
